- Under the leadership of former Lord Mayor of Brisbane Dr. Clem Jones,
Ann was the only northern delegate (QLD) elected to the Constitution
Convention on the need for an Australian Republic held in Canberra in
1998.
- Co-ordinated stakeholder workshops with Griffith University to devise
Public Health Policy for T.C.Council-leading to Townsville designated
first Healthy City under the auspices of the World Health Organisation
(WHO)
- Collaboration with Dr Clem Jones (former Lord Mayor Brisbane) and
Mr Brad Webb developed Foodbank Townsville (Townsville City Council
providing seed funding for project
- Director Foodbank QLD
- Patron of multiple Arts and Sporting groups enabling Councils involved
and seed funding for an enabling lifestyle
